Job Title: Senior Employee Relations Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in managing complex employee relations matters, particularly in litigation and strategic guidance.

  • This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of ER, including end-to-end management of cases, investigations, and workplace grievances.
  • As a key member of the advisory team, you will play a pivotal role in providing coaching and guidance to leaders on managing performance concerns and sensitive employee matters.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex ER matters, including unfair dismissals, general protections claims, stop bullying and stop sexual harassment orders.
  • Take a proactive approach in investigating workplace grievances, including bullying, harassment, discrimination, and victimisation claims.
  • Oversee disciplinary processes from informal discussions to formal actions, including terminations.
  • Provide expert advice and support to leaders on managing performance concerns and sensitive employee matters.
  • Act as a key point of escalation for advisers and senior advisers, supporting them with complex cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different business units to drive consistent and effective ER practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing complex ER matters, including litigation and strategic guidance.
  • Deep knowledge of ER laws and regulations, including unfair dismissals, general protections claims, and workplace grievances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex cases and provide expert advice.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
