Employee Relations Specialist Role Overview
This role plays a pivotal part in delivering ER initiatives, including change programs and compliance projects. The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for proactively managing ER risks, developing scalable solutions, and collaborating with leaders to enhance ER practices.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement proactive compliance plans, promoting a culture of compliance within the ER team and business leaders.
- Lead or contribute to strategic ER projects that strengthen compliance, support transformation, and improve ER frameworks.
- Analyze ER case data and themes to inform priority areas and guide the evolution of ER practice and education.
- Partner with business leaders and HR teams to identify compliance gaps, capability needs, or improvement opportunities and deliver targeted solutions.
- Play a lead role in policy governance cycles, supporting periodic reviews and alignment to legal and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the proactive compliance plan for the organization while promoting a culture of compliance within the ER team and business leaders.
- Lead or contribute to strategic ER projects that strengthen compliance, support transformation, and improve ER frameworks.
- Support the development and implementation of ER tools, policies, and guidance materials that promote consistency in how ER risks are managed.
- Monitor the external employment and regulatory landscape, identifying changes that may impact internal policies and recommending proactive responses.
- Deliver ER initiatives, including change programs and compliance projects that respond to evolving internal and external environments.
