Job Overview

The Business Partnership Specialist is responsible for fostering a culture where employees can thrive and excel. This role involves building strong relationships with leaders and team members, providing guidance on human capital matters, and ensuring the needs of team members are met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to coach, guide and support them on HR-related issues
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects as required
  • Attend and contribute to department meetings, providing tailored insights and solutions
  • Conduct monthly 1:1s with leaders, offering coaching on performance, retention, policy and conflict resolution
  • Manage initiatives in performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, reward and recognition, wellbeing and employer branding
  • Support employee relations issues with professionalism under guidance
  • Contribute to leadership and talent review sessions and follow through on agreed initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or Advisor in a medium-sized organization
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Proficiency in using HR systems, HRIS and intranet tools
  • Strong skills in Google Suite (Sheets and Docs especially)
  • Ability to analyze data and provide meaningful insights
  • A collaborative approach with a passion for enabling leaders and teams to succeed
