  • Providing warm and welcoming service to residents, families, and visitors
  • Managing incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate department or staff member
  • Assisting with general office administration tasks, including handling mail, maintaining office supplies, and scheduling appointments
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Supporting the team in organizing events and activities within the facility
  • Managing accounting tasks such as processing invoices, managing petty cash, or overseeing Resident Trust Accounts
  • Assisting with roster management, including preparing and updating staff schedules, and ensuring coverage for shifts
  • Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in aged care or healthcare
  • Experience in accounting or roster management is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
