Job Summary

New York State is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Clinician - Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will provide professional psychological services under the clinical supervision of a Licensed Psychologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and treatment services to individuals, families, and groups
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Supervise psychological services provided by clinical staff
  • Evaluate information from mental health units, probation, parole, district attorneys' offices, etc.
  • Assist in determining the need for admission to a secure treatment facility or release to strict and intensive community supervision and treatment

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in a clinical field of psychology
  • One year of experience under the supervision of a licensed psychologist in a clinical setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
