About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our Performance department at Barminco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing functional support, training, and mentoring to Site Administrators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Site Administrators, including training and mentoring.
  • Act as a point of contact for Site Administrators' queries and assist with leave coverage.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure Site Administration & Office Management policies and procedures are maintained and consistently applied.
  • Support change management and improvement projects, working closely with the Site Admin Coordinator to ensure effective rollout across sites.
  • Attend site to troubleshoot administrative issues and setup administrative systems.
  • Liaise with other departments to deliver on deadlines and maintain confidentiality of information and records.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative experience in a FIFO Mining environment (UG mining preferred).
  • Relevant experience in a similar administrative role or leadership role.
  • Excellent technical skills in a range of systems, including SAP and Success Factors.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to analyse, resolve problems, and make decisions in a logical and effective manner.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical and mental ability to withstand long hours in a strenuous and potentially high-hazard work environment.
  • Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Medical and National Police Clearance.
  • C-class licence minimum.
  • MS Office knowledge, proficient in Excel and MS Word.
