Development Manager Job Overview

Our client partner is a reputable builder and developer with expertise in home residential projects. With strong branding awareness and great ambition, the business is expanding significantly and aiming to expand interstate.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and analyze development issues, planning controls, and propose suitable solutions.
  2. Appointing and effectively managing external architects, town planners, and other consultants.
  3. Ensure concept design/master plan is developed as per director's brief and organize to book pre-DA with council.
  4. Consulting with authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner that is consistent with the acquisition strategy and feasibility.
  5. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Formal architectural, civil engineering, construction management, or property development qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a development manager.
  • Ideal candidate will have worked for a residential developer/builder.
  • Experience in all facets of land development from design to delivery through to sale and settlement.
