**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Develop and execute a sales plan to significantly grow sales and achieve long-term business objectives.
  2. Identify and assess new business opportunities to close portfolio gaps and expand regional distribution services.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and potential customers through regular visits and sales team collaboration.
  4. Provide product training and sales strategies to the sales team to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  5. Manage all customer interactions for the distribution business, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

**Ideal Candidate:**

  1. Minimum 10 years of sales experience in specialty chemical distribution, with a strong understanding of chemical compounds and/or food ingredients.
  2. Demonstrable track record of leading a sales team and driving growth, with a proven ability to negotiate and close business deals.
  3. Thorough understanding of the chemical distribution market in Australia and New Zealand, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  4. Excellent planning, development, and implementation skills, with the ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  5. Degree in science, chemistry, or food technology is preferred, but not essential.
  6. Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
