Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Associate to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficient service of local produced accounts and ensuring overall compliance with AXA XL policies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in insurance operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for obtaining client information, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring timely implementation of system procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the offshore team to ensure timely requests for quotes, name clearance, and accurate binding of quotes.
  • Proactively engage with underwriters to ensure efficient and smooth account handovers.
  • Ensure complete documentation of files handled by the role holder in the UW file.
  • Accountable for correct premium, commission, and tax bookings in processing systems.
  • Liaise with local staff to resolve queries and track implementation progress.
  • At request of Underwriting, ensure timely and high-quality implementation of mid-term endorsements, issuance of certificates of insurance, and focus on premium collection monitoring.
  • Address requests originating from clients/brokers immediately and refer to Underwriters.
