About the Role

We are seeking a talented Infrastructure Investments Associate to join our Australian team.

As an Associate, you will play a key role in sourcing and executing investment opportunities across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Generating investment ideas consistent with Brookfield's strategy;
  • Identifying and assessing potential risks and developing mitigation strategies;
  • Assisting with the preparation of high-quality presentation materials and supporting documents;
  • Building financial models that support financial analysis; and
  • Working with operational teams and advisors to progress due diligence and asset management-related analysis.

You will also be involved in monitoring the performance of select portfolio companies, assisting with strategic initiatives, and participating in special projects as required.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, such as private equity or infrastructure fund investing;
  • A strong interest in infrastructure and real assets;
  • The ability to generate investment ideas aligned with fund mandates;
  • Sound commercial judgment and the ability to clearly articulate situations and make well-reasoned recommendations;
  • A professional attitude and ability to contribute to a dynamic team culture;
  • A proactive and self-starting approach, with the ability to work independently or as part of a larger team;
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think laterally for the benefit of the division and company;
  • Experience conducting research and due diligence.
