Key Events Coordinator Position

This role involves coordinating sales, events and charters.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced events coordinator with a passion for working closely with clients to deliver the best possible event outcomes. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and a positive work attitude.

The position is dynamic, fast-paced and customer-driven, focusing on events at our top-floor dining space but also handling private bookings across various brands.

Responsibilities
  • Generate leads for events and charters while working towards sales targets.
  • Manage communication with the Operations team, suppliers and stakeholders to meet client expectations and ensure successful repeat events.
  • Source new business opportunities and participate in regular team meetings for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Handle dining enquiries, bookings, prepayments and guests' special requests.
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience in sales, events/event management or FOH dining operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and previous experience using reservations systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple events and adapt to changing priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent food & beverage knowledge.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain).
