We're looking for a Corporate Sales Executive with the confidence, hunger, and skill to own the sales journey from first conversation to final signature. You'll be backed by daily warm enquiries from our marketing team, but you'll also thrive on picking up the phone, researching new markets, and creating opportunities that others miss.
This role isn't for the hesitant or the "order takers." It's for the sales executive who knows how to read the client, understand their frustrations, and close the deal with confidence.
Who you are:
A confident closer with proven sales results in corporate events, venues, or hospitality.
Resilient and motivated — you see "no" as a step closer to "yes."
Skilled at building trust with company executives, third-party organisers, and executive assistants alike.
Sharp, solutions-focused, and passionate about exceeding expectations.
What you'll do:
Convert daily leads into high-value corporate bookings.
Proactively prospect, cold-call, and build a pipeline of fresh business across Melbourne's corporate market.
Understand client pain points — tight budgets, demanding executives, logistical nightmares — and position Metropolis as the solution at every touchpoint.
Present tailored proposals and close deals that make both sides feel like winners.
Collaborate with our event delivery teams to ensure promises made are promises kept.
