Hyatt Centric Melbourne is seeking a skilled Hospitality Manager to lead our Food and Beverage team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing shifts in all outlets, ensuring guest satisfaction and team member engagement. This role requires a strong leader who can mentor, coach and train team members to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run and manage shifts in all outlets as required; buffet breakfast service, lunch and dinner à la carte and events
  • To focus on guests and team member satisfaction and constantly looking at ways to improve the guest and team member experience via feedback channels
  • Assist with the onboarding, training and development of team members, and implementation of training programs
  • To monitor promotional tracking and reporting in a timely manner
  • Ensure guest complaints are handled and communicated in a timely and satisfactory manner
About You

We are looking for someone with previous proven managerial experience in a premium restaurant or 5-star hotel. A current Victorian RSA Certificate is also required.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, train and motivate team members
  • A true foodie, with sound Victorian product knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement learning and development strategies and programs
  • The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
