This highly respected venue takes pride in its loyal customers, vibrant team, and the atmosphere it has fostered. As an experienced Assistant Venue Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service, promoting events, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Training & Management: Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Operational Support: Provide support to the Restaurant Manager and Directors in overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to increase revenue through strategic promotions and event planning.
  • System Management: Manage hospitality systems efficiently, including IMPOS.
  • Security & Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate events, ensuring seamless execution and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Presentation & Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout the venue.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a hospitality management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of front-of-house operations, including cocktail service and wine knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a team and engage with customers effectively.
  • Ability to manage stock and ordering procedures, particularly in relation to wine.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to training and supporting staff.
  • A clear understanding of hospitality systems and the ability to use them efficiently.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting.
  • A current RSA certificate is required.
  • A passion for great food, wine, and customer service.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
