About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team at the State of Washington. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of business solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Conduct business analysis to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and document business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
  • System Implementation: Collaborate with technical staff to design and implement business solutions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing schedules to ensure the quality of business solutions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, technical staff, and end-users.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, systems development, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with business analysis tools and methodologies.
