The State of Washington's Department of Ecology is seeking a highly skilled Reporting and Process Improvement Analyst to join their Toxics Cleanup Program team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in supporting complex legislative reporting requirements, process improvement, and change management.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and present complex financial data to inform program decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement tools and resources to support program performance and accountability, including the creation of a supplier diversity program and the implementation of a Financial Services SharePoint.
- Research and implement alternatives for external financial legislative reporting presentation, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Analyze competitive grant data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for program enhancements.
- Develop and maintain tracking tools and resources for compliance monitoring, including cultural resources and project manager training.
The Toxics Cleanup Program is dedicated to protecting Washington's human health and the environment by preventing and cleaning up pollution. As a member of this team, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative group of professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact.
Requirements- A total of eight years of experience and/or education in a related field, including business administration, public administration, health administration, law, environmental law, finance, economics, statistics, environmental management, environmental or public policy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing senior-level professional analyses to management, staff, and customers regarding complex issues that impact programs and policies.
