About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reporting and Process Improvement Analyst to join our team at the State of Washington. As a key member of our Toxics Cleanup Program, you will play a critical role in supporting complex legislative reporting requirements, process improvement, and change management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, validate, and present complex financial data, including areas of compliance.
  • Review and track financial data for consistency across various platforms and reports.
  • Develop methods and track program financial metrics, including those associated with the Healthy Environment for All (HEAL) Act and the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) rule strategic plan.
  • Research and implement alternatives for external financial legislative reporting presentation.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the Financial Services Share Point, including the transition to the new Share Point.
  • Present complex financial data, including findings and recommendations for change, to management team and other groups as needed.
  • Develop tracking tools and resources for compliance monitoring for cultural resources and project manager training.
  • Develop and implement tools, resources, and processes for Supplier Diversity outreach implementation and tracking.
  • Analyze competitive grant data, such as scores, for trend analysis and to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • A total of eight years of experience and/or education as described below:
  • Experience: providing senior level professional analyses to management, staff, and customers regarding complex issues that impact programs and policies.
  • Education in: business administration, public administration, health administration, law, environmental law, finance, economics, statistics, environmental management, environmental or public policy, or a related field.
