The Office of the Secretary (OOS) is seeking a highly skilled Management Analyst 5 to support the success of our Human Resource Division (HRD). This is an exciting opportunity to leverage data visualization and analysis to drive business outcomes.

In this role, you will be part of our Workforce Analytics and Strategy unit, where you will utilize various systems to provide meaningful and real-time data. Your expertise will be essential in developing data visualization reports, prioritizing data reporting needs, and analyzing data to prepare reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop data visualization reports with drill-down functionality to facilitate easier consumption of data.
  • Prioritize data reporting needs and other tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports utilizing complex data visualization systems to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain project management tools, templates, and standard procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Establish an effective process to analyze business cases, assign resources, and monitor completion of projects.
  • Identify, evaluate, collect, analyze, and interpret Human Resource information to inform strategic decisions.
  • Help coordinate requests for data to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and present complex reports and report processes to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience conducting research, data acquisition, data transformation, and data delivery/reporting preferably using SAP.
  • Experience may substitute year for year for education.
Preferred Experience:
  • Data modeling, data reporting, writing, data analysis.
  • HRMS/SAP experience to analyze, define, develop, and optimize standards and processes.
  • Development of data dashboards and/or data validation tools.
  • Data management/data quality.
  • Analyzing policies, laws, and rules.
  • Conducting research and leading business projects.
  • Complex data set building in Excel.
  • Application of Lean process improvement principles.
