
People Management Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to lead our team and drive people management and development across AU and NZ.
The OpportunityThis newly created position reports into the Head of Operations and encompasses a range of responsibilities including:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Managing the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to performance and remuneration management, with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
- Providing advice and guidance on employment compliance and legal queries, with expertise in AU and NZ awards/legislation.
- Building relationships with stakeholders, unions, service providers, and industry representatives, to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in AU and NZ awards/legislation, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Experience in employee relations, preferably with IR exposure, and knowledge of training management and/or compliance tools.
- Familiarity with payroll systems or experience liaising with payroll providers, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A flexible and professional attitude, with a proactive approach to working in a dynamic startup environment.
