
Business Development and Relationship Manager

The role of a Private Business Family Advisory Manager involves managing an allocated portion of the client base, providing general support to the Partner/Client Director for other clients not in the direct allocation, and reporting to the Partner/Client Director for several client assignments.
This role also includes managing a team and their tasks, as well as partnering with SME clients to grow their business operations both in Australia and overseas, and driving their personal wealth vehicles.
The manager will be keen to form relationships with the families behind the business, their in-house teams, and external advisors. Ensuring coordination with our internal audit and wealth teams is another aspect to provide a full service offering to your client base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring work in progress to ensure it meets acceptable standards and achieves expected results.
- Undertaking planning, leading, and delivering on advisory and compliance engagements.
- Allocating budgeted time for assignments and ensuring work is completed within this timeframe.
- Ensuring all clients have been serviced adequately and suggesting ways to improve services.
- Collaborating with the client to identify critical project outcomes, work products, barriers to success, and changes in scope or expectations.
- Delegating routine tasks and providing constructive feedback.
- SUPERVISING, DEVELOPING, AND TRAINING TEAMS WHILE PROVIDING TECHNICAL ADVICE AND INSIGHT.
- Providing encouragement and support to teams to resolve issues as they arise.
- Leading teams with confidence and providing motivation to perform well.
- Reviewing productivity levels and identifying additional or surplus staff needs regarding scheduling requirements.
- Providing timely and accurate information on critical issues.
- Assisting in strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities through working on tenders and presenting and networking at external functions.
- Working alongside Partners to drive team performance, develop process improvement, and mentor junior staff.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current technologies to assist in carrying out responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to adapt to different situations.
- Works cooperatively and shares knowledge.
- 1-3 years assistant manager experience.
- Willingness to improve expertise through professional development opportunities.
