Junior Document Controller Job Description

Job Opportunity: Junior Document Controller

About the Role:
  • Administer Aconex systems to ensure smooth workflow and optimal performance.
  • Control and manage all project-related documents including design drawings, specifications, calculations, lists, data sheets, and vendor information.
  • Verify that all design submissions comply with metadata requirements.
  • Initiate and coordinate design reviews as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on contract deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to gateway reviews by providing key information and input as required.
  • Maintain efficient documentation turnaround times for both internal and external communications.
  • Ensure that all project documents are properly filed and closed out upon completion.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Aconex experience is essential for this role.
  • At least 2 years of document control experience is required.
  • Familiarity with the natural resources or infrastructure industry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with document control systems is necessary.
  • Data handling or processing skills are an asset.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this position.
