Are you an Engineering Project Coordinator looking for a change or simply a next step? If so, we have a full time opportunity for you based in our Milton office as a Project Coordinator.

About the Role

As a Project Coordinator you are accountable for the effective coordination of projects and associated duties. You will support different Engineers in the successful management of project delivery and operations, managing timelines, assisting with documentation, and ensuring client and regulatory requirements are met. The role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

Project Coordination

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, action logs, and risk registers
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation including proposals, reports, and tenders
  • Coordinate internal and external project meetings, including minute taking and follow-up actions
  • Manage resources and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage project documents and contracts
  • Create new engineering projects/tasks and establish new clients/customer accounts within internal system
  • Process work orders in appropriate software programs/online portals
  • Documentation of relevant maintenance works

Reporting and Resource Management

  • Assist with tracking project budgets and resource allocations
  • Provide financial reporting support including monitoring of project costs, invoicing, and forecasting

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure project documentation complies with relevant industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Support implementation of QA/QC procedures and assist with audits where necessary

Client & Stakeholder Liaison

  • Act as a point of contact between clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Support communication flow and manage expectations between stakeholders

Health & Safety

  • Promote a strong HSE culture across project activities
  • Ensure coordination of HSE documentation for site-based work in line with Queensland regulations

About You

This is an intermediate level position. To be successful, we are looking for the following:

  • 5+ years of project coordination experience, ideal for a motivated individual within engineering or technical consulting environments
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related discipline
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, WHS regulations, and Queensland legislative requirements
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams
