Senior Tourism Development Officer Role

The Senior Tourism Development Officer is responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to identify solutions to tourism operators' queries and contributing to the development of Queensland's tourism industry.

This involves liaising with operators to ensure timely resolution of their enquiries, inputting into data management systems, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to delivering tourism operator enquiries, maintaining documentation, and providing advice to senior management.
  • Support workload management, meet deadlines, and complete tasks independently or within a team.
  • Provide high-level administrative support for projects and programs as required.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to assist in delivery of tourism operator support and enquiry resolution.
  • Assist in preparing concise client correspondence and ministerial documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and ensure a consistent approach to case management.
  • Foster a workplace culture that supports First Nations people and actively engage to contribute to better outcomes.
