Description:
We are seeking a skilled grocery account manager to join our team. As a key player in our sales and business development department, you will be responsible for driving business opportunities and maximizing revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on delivering comprehensive proposals that leverage our retail strategy, shaping customer value propositions, and deepening collaboration with retail partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the acquisition and growth of local hero grocers and single-aisle merchants to bring the best selection to customers.
- Qualify prospective leads, sell our services to partners, and identify opportunities to jointly grow business.
- Establish and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with decision-makers to achieve mutual success.
- Negotiate deals and manage associated commercial and legal processes.
- Contribute to building out a best-in-class grocery and retail proposition.
- Collaborate with sales operations to analyze data and identify opportunities to improve sales strategies, processes, and execution.
Requirements:
- A track record of effectively managing a strategic pipeline and/or book of business with opportunity/risk analysis, forecasting, and achieving metrics-based goals.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle Management from first touch to revenue generation, including handling objections related to product use and terms.
- Executional excellence with the ability to deliver observable results and continuous improvements.
- Strong communication skills and a consultative selling approach.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of how businesses operate and how to navigate a partner's business.
