The Grocery and Retail team is a startup within Uber focused on growth across groceries, essentials, and related categories, leveraging Uber's global platform.As an Account Executive in the GR team, you will maximize business opportunities for our partners by delivering comprehensive proposals that leverage Uber Eats' retail strategy, shape our customer value proposition in ANZ, and deepen collaboration with retail partners to drive sustainable and profitable growth.ResponsibilitiesLead the acquisition and growth of local hero grocers and single-aisle merchants in ANZ (e.g., butchers, fishmongers) to bring the best selection to Uber Eats customersQualify prospective leads, sell Uber Eats to partners, and identify opportunities to jointly grow businessEstablish and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with decision-makers to achieve mutual successNegotiate deals and manage associated commercial and legal processesContribute to building out a best-in-class grocery and retail proposition in ANZCollaborate with sales operations to analyze data and identify opportunities to improve sales strategies, processes, and executionQualifications / ExperienceTrack record of effectively managing a strategic pipeline and/or book of business with opportunity/risk analysis, forecasting, and achieving metrics-based goalsEnd-to-End Sales Cycle Management from first touch to revenue generation, including handling objections related to product use and termsExecutional excellence with the ability to deliver observable results and continuous improvementsStrong communication skills and a consultative selling approachCommercial acumen and understanding of how businesses operate and how to navigate a partner's businessEmployment detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustries: Internet Marketplace Platforms
