Are you looking for an opportunity to partner closely with your customers and grow your career in the process? We have an opportunity for an up and coming National Account Manager to join our Independent Grocery team.

Reporting to the National Business Manager - Independent Grocery, you will be responsible for managing the relationship and commercial responsibility for Metcash and MSO's via our non-alcohol portfolio. You will be accountable for the achievement of agreed sales targets, distribution, profitability, market share, merchandising and promotional targets and be responsible for driving category growth across key categories and retail customers on behalf of the Independent Grocery team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to maximize commercial initiatives within customer.
- Develop and implement category growth initiatives.
- Understand customer strategic direction and leverage with ALB initiatives
- Monitor competitor activity and take relative action to ensure ALB continues to grow ahead of category.
- Ensure ALB is amongst 'best practice' suppliers in servicing and meeting the customer's expectations
- Together with the field operations team, develop effective functional relationships within the customer to ensure best in class, value adding execution in store
- Oversee the management and accuracy of 18 month rolling forecast for relevant portfolio
- Work effectively with Category Planning, Development, Marketing and Customer to ensure effective implementation of the Commercial Plan.

**About You**

Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as a National Account Manager from within the FMCG industry.. You will have exceptional financial / commercial acumen which will be demonstrated through your customer management success.

Other key skills and experience we are looking for are:

- Commercial tertiary qualification preferred
- Grocery experience preferred but not imperative
- Strong product & Category Expertise
- Ability to negotiate and influence cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent project management capabilities
