About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Account Executive to join our team in the Grocery and Retail division. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing business opportunities for our partners by providing comprehensive proposals that leverage our retail strategy. You will help shape our customer value proposition in ANZ and deepen collaboration with retail partners to drive sustainable and profitable growth.



Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the acquisition and growth of local hero grocers and single aisle merchants in ANZ, bringing the best selection to our consumers
  • Qualify prospective leads, sell our platform to partners and identify opportunities to jointly grow business
  • Establish and maintain long-term trusted relationships with decision-makers, working collaboratively to achieve mutual success
  • Negotiate deals and manage the associated commercial and legal processes
  • Play a key role in building out a best-in-class grocery and retail proposition in ANZ
  • This role may encompass future account management possibilities upon segment growth
  • Collaborate with sales operations teams to analyze data and identify opportunities to improve sales strategies, processes, and execution


Requirements
  • A track record of effectively managing a strategic pipeline and/or book of business, including opportunity/risk analysis, forecasting and outperforming metrics-based business goals.
  • End-to-End Sales Cycle Management - Ability to drive momentum from first touch point with a partner through to mature lifecycle and revenue generation, inclusive of objection handling related to product use and commercial & legal terms
  • Executional Excellence - Ability to deliver observable results and continuous improvements despite challenges and setbacks.
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of a consultative selling approach
  • Commercial acumen - Understanding of how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner's business
