Job Overview

Maintain accurate and detailed records of investigations, including documents, interviews, and evidence collected. Prepare comprehensive reports on findings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage a personal portfolio of claims and assist team members as needed.
  • Liaise with external investigation services to provide instructions on information required during the investigation.
  • Develop an Investigation Plan (as necessary) and obtain approval from the Fraud Investigations Team leader.
  • Conduct objective, fair, and timely investigations while adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Review complex or suspicious cases and prepare investigation plans, identifying missing or inconsistent data.
  • Make informed decisions on claims based on sound evidence and communicate outcomes to customers.
  • Provide support on potentially fraudulent claims escalated to Customer Dispute Resolution prior to and after submission to the Ombudsman.
About You
  • Experience in Insurance Claims is preferred.
  • You should have good computer and administration skills.
  • A strong understanding of insurance legislation and processes is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, are required.
  • You must be able to work autonomously and develop professional resilience.
