Job Description:

The Fraud Coordinator plays a pivotal role in safeguarding against fraudulent activities, managing investigations and cases daily. This position is responsible for implementing strategies to prevent and detect fraud.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive zero-tolerance policies across the business.
  • Develop strategies aligned with global standards.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance fraud detection.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation of fraud management rules.

Fraud Management Strategy:
  • Manage cases to reduce claim leakage.
  • Coordinate investigations and ensure timely closure.
  • Participate in fraud framework development and culture.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on high-value or sensitive cases.

Operational Execution:
  • Ensure timely investigation of fraud alerts.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for fraud referrals and investigations.
  • Monitor KPIs such as fraud referral rate and investigation turnaround time.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify fraud patterns.

Problem Solving Skills:
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • Ability to think critically and apply practical learning.
  • Identify solution options and provide recommendations.
  • Build effective projects and make decisions.

Required Experience:
  • Proven experience in fraud investigation or management.

This role reports into the Investigations Team Lead and manages investigations and fraud cases daily across the Travel Claims portfolio for Australia & New Zealand.
