We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data and AI Strategist to join our team at NCS Australia.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes designing and implementing AI/ML Ops pipelines, building and deploying Generative AI solutions, and working closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, data management, and AI/ML principles. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement data engineering solutions on GCP, including data ingestion, processing, storage, compliance, and governance.
  • Design and implement AI/ML Ops pipelines, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and management.
  • Build and deploy Generative AI solutions, leveraging large language models and other advanced AI technologies.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong history of experience in data engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • A comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies, with an emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • You will be proficient in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
  • You have a strong understanding of SQL, including database design, querying, and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP data services, such as BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks, such as Langchain, TensorFlow, and Vertex AI.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and technologies, such as large language models and transformers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information

NCS Australia offers competitive salaries ranging from $120,000 to over $200,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer additional benefits, including paid parental leave, discounted health insurance, and career development opportunities.
