About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead to join our Data, AI, and Automation team. In this exciting new adventure, you'll lead a multifunctional squad to implement and operationalise the Group AI Assurance Framework across the business.

You'll own the end-to-end AI governance assessments, provide advice and guidance throughout the AI solution lifecycle, and ensure AI solutions comply with applicable legal requirements and regulation.

About You:
  • Extensive experience in a governance role, working with Data or Automation Solutions within cloud and non-cloud environments.
  • Confident working with AI technologies, with experience in Large Language Models and Machine Learning.
  • A good understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to AI governance, with experience ensuring compliance with evolving Data Privacy regulations, including APP and Privacy Act.
  • Degree qualified in computer science, data science, or related IT discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong relationship building and presentation skills.
