About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Donor Relationship Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships with donors and driving growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of mid-level donors, working closely with the Business Intelligence Team to effectively tier donor portfolios based on activity and capacity. They will also develop and execute donor engagement strategies, including giving history, future revenue goals, and marketing communications touch points.

In addition, they will lapse donor strategies to financially re-engage mid-level donors, increase donor retention, value retention, giving, and movement of qualified donors to Major Donor portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectiveness in cross-functional teams and experience managing and tracking financial efforts of donor portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of approximately 600-700 mid-level donors using relationship-based moves management strategies.
  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence Team to effectively tier donor portfolios based on activity and capacity.
  • Develop and execute donor engagement strategies, including giving history, future revenue goals, and marketing communications touch points.
  • Lapse donor strategies to financially re-engage mid-level donors.
  • Increase donor retention, value retention, giving, and movement of qualified donors to Major Donor portfolios.
  • Research potential donors, create new opportunities, and grow the mid-level donor portfolio.
  • Cultivate and retain monthly Freedom Partners.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience delivering results in fundraising or sales environments.
  • Proven track record of effectiveness in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing and tracking financial efforts of donor portfolios.
  • Experience with donor cultivation, portfolio management, and moves management.
  • Salesforce experience and advanced Excel skills are a plus.
