Strategic Category Leader

This senior leadership role involves overseeing strategic category planning, implementing insights-driven strategies, and driving growth opportunities in the Retail channel.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop actionable insights to inform strategy development and drive business results.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives for assigned categories, including range reviews, customer meetings, and category management projects.
- Create compelling customer stories for new product launches and key initiatives.
- Optimize customer planograms for shoppability and shelf share through data-driven analysis.
- Implement best-in-class category strategies and insights-based projects to drive business excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing with a strong focus on analytical skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Category Development Manager in FMCG, preferably in the Australian Grocery environment.
- Proven ability to deliver high-impact category reviews and develop strategic partnerships.
- Strong influencing skills to drive change and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical skills to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on data integrity.
