About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the defense industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with our defense industry clients and stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and emerging technologies in the defense industry to develop effective business development strategies.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate leads for new business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the defense industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Credentials: NV-1 security clearance, with the ability to upgrade to NV-2 if required.
