About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our dynamic CRDN team at Medtronic. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic business plans aimed at achieving sales revenue and market share objectives in the Coronary and Renal Denervation (CRDN) market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets for the NSW territory.
  • Provide complete account management within the territory, including building and nurturing relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Practice professional and effective territory management, including organization, technical expertise, administration, inventory management, and expense planning and control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer support, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, hospital stakeholders, and other decision-makers to execute on account strategies.
  • Proactively manage clinical support and educational requirements, including providing training and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support sales activities by assisting in presentations to healthcare professionals on related educational and training topics.
  • Practice effective communication by feeding back information regarding commercial and clinical opportunities and intelligence to relevant stakeholders.
  • Consistently set and meet quarterly performance goals, including sales revenue and market share targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, general Science, Business, or similar.
  • Solid (3+ years) sales experience in the devices, pharma, or healthcare industry.
  • Cardiac Catheter Lab experience will be highly regarded.
  • Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge, including clinical papers.
  • Knowledge of account planning, territory management, and forecasting.
  • Ability to adopt consultative selling strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to build and nurture clinical and business relationships with customers.
  • Understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/theatres/departments, e.g., purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling, and key influencers.
  • Computer literacy, including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
