At Medtronic, we're committed to transforming the lives of patients worldwide. As a Territory Manager for our Coronary and Renal Denervation (CRDN) team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our efforts in New South Wales.
About the RoleAs a Territory Manager, you'll be responsible for achieving sales revenue targets for the NSW territory, providing complete account management, and practicing professional and effective territory management. You'll work closely with our National Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic business plans, promote our range of RDN products to key specialists, and provide highest-level clinical service and technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales revenue and market share targets for the specified territory
- Understand clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest-level clinical service and technical support
- Provide best-in-class clinical case support in hybrid theatres and cardiac cath labs
- Be well-organized and practice good territory management of inventory, case support calendar, administration, and expenses
- Play a lead role in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for the specified territory
- Build awareness and access key influencers, key hospital stakeholders, and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies
- Proactively manage clinical support and educational requirements
- Support sales activities by assisting in presentations to healthcare professionals on related educational and training topics
- Practice effective communication by feeding back information regarding commercial and clinical opportunities and intelligence to relevant CS, CTM, BDM, and other divisional staff
- Consistently set and meet quarterly performance goals
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, general Science, Business, or similar
- Solid (3+ years) sales experience in the devices, pharma, or healthcare industry
- Cardiac Catheter Lab experience will be highly regarded
- Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge, including clinical papers
- Knowledge of account planning, territory management, and forecasting
- Ability to adopt consultative selling strategies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong ability to build and nurture clinical and business relationships with customers
- Understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/theatres/departments, e.g., purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling, and key influencers
- Computer literacy, including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
- Maintain a valid driver's license
