Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying strategies to expand our customer base within the industrial/manufacturing sector, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Identify and implement strategies to expand the company's customer base within the industrial/manufacturing sector
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery

- Conduct regular business reviews and propose improvement plans
The Successful Applicant
A successful Account Manager should have:
- A degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate each stage of the sales process
- Proven success in securing large contracts and high-value deals
- A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering results
- Skilled in positioning and promoting high-end product
What We Offer
In addition to a competitive base salary of $120,000 per annum, we offer a 10% bonus scheme and a fully maintained company car.
