The Role

This is an opportunity to join our team as a Safety, Health & Wellbeing Business Partner in the Southern region, covering VIC, SA, WA, and TAS. You will be based at our Dandenong Distribution Centre.

In this role, you will implement National Safety, Health & Wellbeing strategies across multiple sites while ensuring compliance with Self Insurance requirements, Wesfarmers Health's SH&W Management System standards, and regulatory/legislative requirements.

You will lead safety initiatives across multiple sites, prioritise key activities based on local risks/trends, and develop and deliver strategic improvement initiatives to make Wesfarmers Health a safer place to work every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and promote occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
  • Lead safety initiatives across multiple sites and support local leadership teams.
  • Implement risk management procedures for site(s) to ensure risks are identified, assessed accurately, and controlled to an acceptable standard.
  • Support local leadership teams on incident reporting and investigation.
What You'll Bring
  • 6+ years experience in a similar role within Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Warehousing business.
  • Experience in a multi-site regional role, supporting sites both remotely and with regular travel.
  • Sound technical knowledge in relation to OH&S legislation and standards.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and consultation/coaching skills.
  • Self-motivated leader with the ability to work autonomously.
