Freight Forwarding Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Import Specialist to manage end-to-end operations for key account clients and standard accounts. You will provide the best solution for clients' movement of freight, working within the National Import Team in accordance with company policies and procedures and department SOPs and set KPIs.

Key responsibilities include verifying Pre-Alert documents, ensuring all required customs documents are received and correct, processing final and disbursement invoices once customs entry is complete, and arranging deliveries for FCL/LCL/Airfreight consignments for allocated accounts.

As an Import Specialist, you will also need to troubleshoot issues, build relationships with clients, and work collaboratively with the operational team.

Required Skills:

  • A great can-do attitude, superior communication and liaison skills
  • Relevant import air freight experience ideally within the international freight forwarding industry
  • CargoWise One knowledge and experience
  • High attention to detail and hardworking attitude
