The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding across APAC, demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, and effective communication skills that adapt to various stakeholders. They will also have critical thinking and strategic acumen relevant to freight movement.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring professional liaison with sister companies, franchises, partner agents, agents, Customs & Quarantine Authorities, Shipping Companies, and other Commercial Entities
  • Strengthening freight and shipping coordination team planning with carriers and internal SOP processes
  • Management and supervision of all freight bookings (FCL, LCL, Air & Groupage) for all outbound APME movements
  • Tight operational control to ensure maximum efficiency and profit on shipments
  • Management and supervision of the liaison with the International Sales & Pricing Team, as well as Move Management Consultants to provide indicative sailing schedules
  • Management of receipt, checking/control, and payment of freight invoices
  • Management and supervision of the Groupage scheduling, ensuring timely movement of Groupage moves, maximum capacity loading, and growth to all Groupage destination countries
  • Regular contact with Sales consultants as well as the International Pricing Team regarding all freight offers/opportunities
  • Manage and lead a team of approximately 15 shipping/freight coordinators
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Freight Forwarding experience across APAC
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FCL, LCL, Air, Groupage freight products
  • Effective communication style that adapts to a variety of stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and strategic acumen relevant to Freight movement
