Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our Yard Operations team.

About the Role

This position plays a critical part in ensuring efficient handling and receipt of freight.

  • Loading, unloading, and securing general freight of all sizes
  • Operating counterbalance forklifts
  • Processing various types of general freight from beginning to end (palletised, ugly and oversize)
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Securing and restraining all loads as per the load restraint guide
  • Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
  • Preparing outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch
  • Experience with RF Scanners and previous experience with ERP/WMS Systems (SAP or Dynamics) highly desirable
