Your Opportunity

The HammondCare Events team manages over 40 events annually, ranging from our flagship event, the International Dementia Conference, to industry conferences across Australia, as well as internal events like service launches and exhibitions.

Job Description
  • Plan and execute end-to-end delivery of internal and external events, including resource allocation and coordination.
  • Create and maintain registration sites, providing reports and analysis.
  • Participate in meetings, taking actions for allocated events.
  • Liaise with internal IT and external AV companies to ensure requirements are met.
  • Prepare event briefs.
  • Coordinate virtual events through Teams or Zoom.
  • Manage logistics for external conferences and events attended by HammondCare.
  • Work within timelines and facilitate reporting to meet event KPIs.
  • Maintain event collateral and assets.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Events, Events Manager, and other teams on event planning, advertising, and promotion.
Requirements
  • Commitment to aligning with HammondCare's Christian mission and values.
  • At least 2 years of experience in events roles, preferably with client-side event management.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to negotiate and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Dynamic personality with a can-do attitude.
  • Highly developed teamwork skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Zoom.
  • Experience with EventAir is essential.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend events outside standard business hours, including weekends and interstate travel.
  • Australian driver's license and current First Aid Certificate are required.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus flexible hybrid work arrangements, leave benefits, a Reward and Recognition Program, discounted healthcare memberships, and access to Employee Assistance Program services.
