Cater Care Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at our aged care residence in Glen Waverley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation.
  • Leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Developing and implementing menus that cater to the dietary needs of our residents, while maintaining a focus on cost management and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene practices, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborating with the broader team to achieve business objectives and support the growth of Cater Care Australia.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior culinary management role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
