About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our team at The Star Entertainment Group in Sydney. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue and maximizing occupancy across our Sydney property.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies to secure appropriate business for The Star Entertainment Group.
  • Lead a team to drive profitable revenue across hotels/events business.
  • Create a pipeline of offers to drive sales for hotel/business events.
  • Provide leadership to increase revenue based on reaching and exceeding budgeted targets.
  • Drive initiatives to create new and repeat business.

Your Requirements:

  • Experience in Business Development for hotel and business events market segments.
  • The ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and successfully prioritize workload.
  • Experience as a Sales Manager within a similar environment.
  • Previous experience selling hotel and event venues with a comparable property or brand.
  • Experience in selling principles and objectives and sales targeting.

About You:

You are a driven sales professional who will work hard to drive hotel and events revenue into the property, bringing with you existing knowledge and experience. You are proud of the role you play within our hospitality business, pride yourself in strong client relationships, and maintain a consistent pipeline of profitable bookings and revenue.

Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits. The salary range is commensurate with experience.
