About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic People Leader to join our team at National Pharmacies. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing contemporary people and culture strategies, policies, and projects to support our organisational mission, values, and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and support senior leaders and managers on people-related issues, including performance management, employment relations, recruitment, and general people best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Develop and implement staff engagement strategies, including measurement and analysis of results.
  • Focus on building culture, capability, and leadership across the organisation by developing talent management strategies and providing advice on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Drive organisational effectiveness solutions and initiatives to contribute to a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee investigations and case management activities as required, in line with policies and best practices.
  • Build and manage the people, culture, and performance budget.
  • Research and prepare relevant reporting, including monthly and quarterly board reports.
  • Maintain and deliver the 'People Plan' in alignment with our business strategy.
  • Develop the company strategy for and lead the negotiation of Enterprise Agreements.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic People Leader who can build and foster trusted and collaborative relationships. You will have previous experience partnering at the Executive and Senior Leadership Team level, driving organisational development and culture programs, and influencing and supporting broader company priorities. Integrity, including upholding strong professional and ethical standards, will be at the core of everything you do as you work to align strategic people objectives to our organisational strategy.

You will have a demonstrated ability to build and foster high-performing teams that positively contribute to broader organisational culture. Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in human resource management and/or organisational psychology, or have significant equivalent experience. You will demonstrate strong partnering and stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to deliver results within complex and fluid environments.

You will have the ability to interpret and understand the Fair Work Act and modern awards, and be experienced in analysis, critical decision making, project management, and process improvement. Experience implementing HR technology will be an advantage.
