**About the Role**

BDO is seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team for a 12-month contract. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for delivering effective people strategies and programs to achieve BDO's people goals across the full employee lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support stakeholders in the development and delivery of talent strategies to drive business outcomes and build capability.
  • Lead the delivery of HR projects, solutions, and services that deliver business outcomes, improve performance, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, positive workplace culture based on shared values and common goals.
  • Manage and advise senior leaders on all people matters, including employee relations, performance, remuneration, engagement, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Provide specialist advice, guidance, and support on organizational change projects.
  • Build and maintain strategic working relationships with client groups and key stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs and priorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practice standards and educate others on how to positively influence stakeholder decisions.
  • Guide, coach, and support managers in the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and tools.

**Requirements**

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, change management, or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
  • Prior experience in a business partnering role, preferably in a professional services firm.
  • Experience in developing business strategies and knowledge of change management activities.
  • Exposure to talent management methodologies, such as the 9-box grid.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment-related laws, employee relations, and risk management issues.
  • An understanding of contemporary and emerging people issues and practices.
