About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic People and Culture Leader to join our team at Consunet Pty Ltd. as the Head of People and Culture. This is a key leadership role that will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement People Strategy: Drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the organisation's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the P&C Team: Lead and manage a small P&C team, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of P&C services.
  • Build Leadership and Workforce Capability: Work with leaders to build people leadership skills and develop workforce capability, driving a culture of high performance and inclusion.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies to support business growth and ensure a pipeline of skilled and talented employees.
  • Organisational Change Management: Lead and manage organisational change initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • P&C Best Practices: Implement P&C best practices to support the organisation's strategy, while proactively managing risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Workforce Planning: Develop a workforce plan that aligns with and anticipates future needs and skills gaps, ensuring the organisation has the right people with the right skills to deliver its business objectives.
  • Employee Experience: Lead the development and implementation of initiatives to improve the employee experience, including employee engagement, wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: An undergraduate or higher degree qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is highly regarded, alongside a Change Management qualification.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative, innovative, and resilient culture.
  • P&C Expertise: Comprehensive experience across the full breadth of all People & Culture disciplines, including talent acquisition, retention, and development.
  • Strategic and Proactive: A proactive mindset and strategic approach, with the ability to effectively contribute to organisational growth and workforce planning.
  • Communication and Confidentiality: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, coupled with the discretion and confidentiality needed to handle sensitive people matters.
  • Organisational and Time Management: Self-directed, with exceptional organisational skills to manage competing deadlines effectively.
