About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Theatre Unit Manager at Prospero Health & Social Care. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for promoting quality patient care and service, and providing leadership and strategy to your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and assistants to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Theatre unit, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years' clinical experience in a Theatre setting.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing a team and handling high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs.
