Nurse Unit Manager

The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Surgical Outpatient Services at Launceston General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Surgical Outpatient Services team.
- Ensure the efficient and effective provision of outpatient care, aligned with clinical standards and best practice principles.
- Lead and manage the coordination of overall patient care, and be responsible for managing human, material, and financial resources for service delivery.
The LGH Department of Surgical and Perioperative Services provides high-quality, consumer-centred care in a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to build a service and a team that supports access to care for the community of Northern Tasmania.
What We Offer- A fixed-term, full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight.
