This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of New South Wales as a Research Coordinator in Developmental Affective Science. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our research projects, particularly those focused on perinatal mental health.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with excellent data analysis skills, prior experience supporting research projects, and strong interpersonal communication skills. You will work closely with the research team to prepare study materials, assist with data collection, and draft ethics applications.

As a Research Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in data cleaning and analysis, statistical data reporting, and participant recruitment. You will also contribute to the development of research papers and grant applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data cleaning and analysis to ensure submissions are genuine
  • Preparing study materials, assisting with data collection, and drafting ethics applications
  • Supporting participant recruitment and data collection for various projects
  • Conducting statistical data reporting and responding to routine enquiries
  • Attending research meetings and training sessions
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including $85,000 - $96,000 per year plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading. This is a fixed-term position for 3 years, with a part-time arrangement of 14 hours per week.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Completion of 2 or more years of undergraduate study in psychology or a related field, with further study in progress
  • Prior experience supporting a research project
  • Demonstrated experience with data analyses
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team
